This document sets forth the terms and conditions governing the use of the carpool service app, provided by Get Hooptie. By using the app, the Host and Rider agree to comply with the following policies:

Host’s Right to Refuse Rider

The Host reserves the right to refuse a Rider for any reason that, in the Host’s sole discretion, may pose a risk to the Host’s safety or the safety of their vehicle. The Host may refuse to transport a Rider who appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, who does not comply with the Host’s instructions, or who has a reputation for causing problems. The Host may cancel the ride before the start time if they feel uncomfortable with the Rider or their destination.

Consequence for Frequent Trip Cancellations

The Host is expected to fulfill their commitment to provide rides to Riders who have confirmed reservations. However, we understand that there may be unforeseen circumstances that prevent the Host from fulfilling their obligation. If a Host cancels three or more trips within a six-month period, the Host will not be allowed to list their car for any new trips for a period of 60 days. This policy is in place to ensure the reliability of the carpool service and to prevent inconvenience to the Riders.

By using the Get Hooptie app, the Host and Rider agree to abide by the above policies. Any violation of these policies may result in suspension or termination of the Host’s or Rider’s account, without any refund or compensation.
