To rent a seat on Get Hooptie, you must first create a Rider account. You will need a valid driver’s license or valid state-Issued ID, and be at least 18 years and older. Before you can book your first trip, you’ll go through a verification process by entering your driver’s license or state-issued ID as well as some additional information necessary to complete the profile. In almost all cases, your profile will be approved immediately, and will be set to book a seat for your next trip.

How can I Drive a Car on Get Hooptie?

To Drive and Host your car on Get Hooptie, you first need to create your Host account. You will need a valid driver’s license, Insurance, vehicle not older than 15 years and you have to be at least 21 years or older. Before you can host your first trip, you’ll go through a verification process by entering your driver’s license as well as some additional information necessary to complete the profile. In almost all cases, your profile will be approved immediately. Once profile is approved you can add single or multiple cars to your profile for hosting trips.

What is the cancellation policy on Get Hooptie?

Rider may cancel a reservation and get a full refund up to 24 hours before the trip starts. If a trip is canceled within 24 hours a refund will still be issued but a cancelation and administrative fee will be charged. This is the same policy for the host – if a host cancels within 24 hours the host will be charged and the renter will receive a credit. Additionally, the host will be charged a cancelation and processing fee since it’s within 24 hours of the trip start time. Read Policy

What happens if I have an accident or emergency?

If there is a road emergency or accident, please call 911. You can contact our support via the app messaging system. We will work with you to find alternate to complete your trip.

Can I request a pickup from a specific location?

Yes, many hosts will offer to pick up at specific locations like transit hubs or hotels. This will need to be set up during the reservation process directly between the host and the individual renting the seat. If a vehicle is delivered to a specific location, there may be a fee associated with this request.

What is the cleaning policy on Get Hooptie

It is required that all vehicles are cleaned and disinfected thoroughly by their hosts before picking up any riders. Riders are also required to clean and to make sure the vehicle is not dirty the end of the trip. Should a guest leave his designated area dirty a cleaning and administrative fee will be charged.

Can a minor reserve a seat on Get Hooptie

No, all minors must be accompanied by an adult. A valid ID could be requested by host at the time of pickup for verification purposes.

What is the smoking Policy for Get Hooptie
